Evolve is the umbrella organization established to channel the financial resources of the Shao family toward advancing the evolution of consciousness. It operates through two major divisions—Evolve Foundation (primarily focused on the U.S. and other countries outside of China) and Evolve China—while also running several parallel projects. Each division and project pursues its own distinct strategy while remaining aligned with Evolve’s overarching mission, collaborating closely whenever their initiatives intersect.

Bo Shao, Chairman and Co-founder of Evolve, is a pioneer in venture investing in China, with an exceptional track record of identifying promising opportunities and entrepreneurs at early stages. He co-founded one of China’s leading venture capital firms. In 2018, Bo stepped away from all commercial activities to devote himself entirely to philanthropy. Over the years, he has become an undisputed authority in the area of psychospiritual transformation among business leaders in China.

Oleg Gorelik, Co-founder of Evolve and President of Evolve Foundation, has spent more than 25 years helping individuals in their pursuit of inner fulfillment, with results that reinforce Evolve’s belief in the vast potential of human growth. Bo and Oleg’s deep commitment to their own inner work serves as a source of inspiration for the Evolve team and is shared by the leaders of the organizations Evolve partners with.
